Miss Valley Center pageant seeks applicants

Miss Valley Center Pageant 2024 royalty. Now that New Year’s has passed, time is approaching, for two talented, intelligent, and well-spoken young women to become Miss Valley Center and Junior Miss Valley Center 2025. 

The 2025 Miss Valley Center Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday April 5, 2025, at the Maxine Theater. Orientation is Saturday January 18, at VC Community Hall room 3, at noon. 

It is mandatory that each contestant attend. Deadline is Saturday January 25. Practices will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at VC Community Hall downstairs and Saturdays 2 to 5 p.m. at Valley Center dance center starting January 23.

Miss Valley Center serves as an ambassador of the community throughout the San Diego area, gains the admiration of fellow residents and has the opportunity to win a scholarship, cash, and prizes. This will be the 55th year the unincorporated area of Valley Center will crown a queen. Entries for the 2025 Pageant will be available at the pageant website www.missvalleycenterpageant.com, or call Debra Jockinsen, the pageant director.

Contestants for Miss Valley Center must be 17 years of age by January 25, 2025, and no older than 24 by June 1, 2025, at least a junior at an accredited high school, never married or pregnant and of high moral character. 

Contestants for Junior Miss Valley Center must be between the ages of 14 by January 25, 2025, and no older than 16, never married or pregnant and of high moral character. The pageant includes opportunities for personal growth, scholarship funds, and many prizes and experiences that last a lifetime. 

Marlyce Howard Miss Valley Center 2024 and Mikayla Mikhail Junior Miss Valley Center 2024 along with the court, have spent their reign attending many high-profile community and charitable events throughout San Diego. 

The Miss Valley Center Pageant is produced by the Valley Center Pageant Association, a non-profit organization, committed to providing opportunities for the education and personal growth for young women in Valley Center. Donation of goods, services and education funds help improve the program.
